ON SITE SURVEYS to BS5839-1:2025
Our On Site Survey Engineer will attend your Premises at the time and date specified. They will be well presented, punctual, courteous and totally professional at all times to you, your staff and visitors alike.
They will examine only the documents and/or Fire System as agreed with you.
They will carry out their duties with the minimum of disruption to you, your staff and the day to day operations of your site. .
If they are carrying out an audit of the on site documentation , we will need access to the relevant doumentaion as related to the Fire Safety Systems.
If you require a Fire Alarm Zone Plan or a Evacuation Plan these can generally be Surveyed, Created, Printed, Framed and Installed on the day of the visit with no disruption to your day to day operations.
An Audit of the Fire Alarm System to create or amend the AS Fitted Drawings can be slightly more intrusive. The Engineers will need access to all areas of the building that contains any fire alarm system components. We may well need to interrogate the Fire Alarm Panel to be able to carry out a full audit. This will include putting the Fire Alarm System into a fire condition. This can and will be done Silently so as to minimize disruption.
Rest assured our on site representatives are all fully qualified Fire Alarm System Engineers and hold all the relevant industry qualifications, as well as many years experience.
All our representaives also hold a current Ehanced DBS certificate thus ensuring total confidentiality. No information about the workings or layout of your site will be passed to any third party.
On completion of the On Site Survey we will prepare a concise report, which we will explain to you in detail.
We will highlight the documents you have in your possession and any missing documents we reccommend you obtain.
We will also highlight any documents which we believe no longer truly represent the on-site conditions.
A Quotation will then be prepared and presented to you for your consideration.
At the end of the process we will present to you your Documents in an organised and easy to read Operation & Maintenance Manual presented to you in a Binder with hard copies of all documents as well a memeory stick containing electronic copies.
